Healthcare systems have truly been put to the test throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only have they had to be the heroes on the frontline of fighting this unforgiving virus, they have also had to put all elective procedures on hold which has created, and will continue to create, trouble for future revenue to these healthcare providers. Daryl Tol, the President and CEO of AdventHealth Central Florida Region, discussed how this has affected their operations with Abby Melone. He also speaks on how AdventHealth plans to continue to take all necessary precautions which includes testing all employees and patients that come through their door, and in order to accomplish this that the state will need many more testing kits than are currently available.
