As a philanthropist, what drew you to Livingstone College, and how does the institution align with your mission of serving underrepresented communities?  

We align with the mission of building a path to prosperity for everyone. That path starts with education. ApSeed is at the headwaters of literacy, and Livingstone is at the rapids. We both like to move fast.

ApSeed provides digital access to underserved populations. How has your relationship with Livingstone influenced your approach to expanding educational opportunity?  

Livingstone helps us understand the realities of the underserved. Access, trust, and consistent messaging are provided through our partnership.

Many communities still face barriers to technology and digital literacy. What role can institutions like Livingstone play in closing those gaps? 

Livingstone is respected in our underserved neighborhoods. They provide the channels for our digital literacy for those who want it. Livingstone is a wonderful partner for ApSeed.

Looking ahead, where do you see the greatest opportunities for collaboration between philanthropy, technology, and higher education to create lasting impact in the region?
