June 2025 — Palm Beach County is experiencing a luxury hotel boom, with several properties being renovated and upgraded to enhance the guest experience.

Below, we highlight standout properties and amenities driving Palm Beach’s luxury hospitality resurgence.

Palm House

After being closed for 17 years, the Palm House hotel in Palm Beach reached a key milestone, with all of its rooms now approved for occupancy. The historic property underwent a full renovation after being purchased out of bankruptcy in 2019 for nearly $40 million by an affiliate of London-based L+R Hotels. Now part of the company’s Iconic Luxury Hotels collection, the hotel marks a significant comeback under its new ownership. The 79-room property includes 58 guestrooms and 21 suites, all designed in classic Palm Beach style, with floor-to-ceiling seashell tapestries adorning the lobby.

“It’s been a journey, but the Palm House is now an exceptional destination in itself, with a distinctive character that fits seamlessly into the Palm Beach experience,” said Francisco Macedo, senior vice president of Iconic Luxury Brands International, in an interview with Palm Beach Daily News.

The Vineta Hotel

Set to open in 2025, The Vineta Hotel will offer 41 luxury rooms nearby Worth Avenue. It marks the first U.S. property for the Oetker Collection, the renowned luxury hotel group behind Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and Eden Rock – St. Barths. The hotel’s restaurant, Coco’s, will feature a menu designed by the executive and pastry chefs from Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.

The property underwent a full renovation, led by Paris-based interior designer Tino Zervudachi.

“This is a monumental moment in the brand’s history as we announce our first Masterpiece Hotel in the United States. Many of our existing guests have long visited or are residents of Palm Beach, and we therefore look forward to extending Oetker Collection’s unique hospitality ethos based on our values of family spirit, elegance and genuine kindness, to this wonderful town with The Vineta Hotel,” said Timo Gruenert, CEO of Oetker Collection.

The Breakers

One of America’s most iconic resorts, The Breakers completed a $12 million renovation of its acclaimed tennis and racquet facilities, set within 140 acres of oceanfront grounds. The upgrade included 16 state-of-the-art open-air courts for tennis, pickleball, and padel — each featuring a private cabana. The Flagler Club, the hotel within a hotel at The Breakers, underwent a renovation of its 21 guest rooms by Tihany Design.

“Inspired by the ever-evolving expectations of our clientele, we’re dedicated to raising the bar and continuously elevating the value of our one-of-a-kind resort,” said Paul Leone, CEO of The Breakers, in an interview with Southern Living.

The Ben Hotel

The Ben Hotel in West Palm Beach, known for its stylish interiors and rooftop bar with water views, is setting a new standard in corporate hospitality. In partnership with global tech leader Cisco, the hotel introduced advanced visual technology in its meeting spaces. Using Cisco’s ‘Distance Zero’ concept, the setup ensures virtual participants feel fully included — able to see facial expressions, follow multiple conversations, and communicate as clearly as if they were physically present.

According to General Manager Bernardo Neto, the success of The Ben is a combination of strong market dynamics and strategic hotel operations. In an interview with Invest:, Neto highlighted the significant growth of West Palm Beach, which has driven new businesses and residents — culminating in greater demand for quality accommodations.

Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort & Spa

Formerly the Omphoy Ocean Resort, the Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort & Spa completed a $25 million renovation. The beachfront property features a sleek, modern design with a glass-fronted exterior, contrasting with Palm Beach’s traditional Mediterranean style.

The oceanfront hotel offers 134 newly redesigned luxury guest rooms and has been ranked among Florida’s top resorts by readers of Condé Nast Traveler.
