3 min read January 2024 — The Broward business community will convene at the Invest: Greater Fort Lauderdale 2023-2024 Launch Conference on Thursday, Feb. 1st, from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Riverside Hotel. The networking and panel event marks the launch of the sixth edition of Capital Analytics’ comprehensive report on Broward County’s key industries.
The conference will bring together top industry and community leaders to discuss the business environment, challenges and growth strategies of their companies and organizations. The event serves an important purpose in connecting key stakeholders across industries to build partnerships and address the primary issues facing the Greater Fort Lauderdale community.

Registration starts at 8:00 AM, followed by an hour-long networking session accompanied by a full breakfast.
The first panel, Better Together: How the Greater Fort Lauderdale community can address affordability and mobility challenges through collaboration,’ will feature Josh Levy, mayor of the City of Hollywood, Keith Poliakoff, CEO of Government Group Law, Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Executive Director Gregory Stuart and Giselle Cheminand, president and CEO of GCI Worldwide Corporation.
The second and final panel, titled ‘Live, Work, Play: What is the recipe for sustainable and diverse growth in Greater Fort Lauderdale and how to get there?,’ will include speakers such as Jonathan Hage, CEO of Charter Schools USA. Kaufman Rossin’s Michelle Sadeghy, Nova Southeastern University President & CEO George Hanbury, and Mayor Michelle Gomez of the City of Tamarac.
